Not like a BSOD, just... an uninteractive field of soft blue. Completely unplayable.I will be seeking a refund and I suggest not buying it. I can run games like Total War: Warhammer on ultra without a hitch, so this is clearly due to lack of proper testing.Edit: upon further testing from the dev and another customer, it was discovered that Malwarebytes and Windows Defender (and possibly other AV suites?) interfere with the game on some level. If you want to know what the game is like before you buy, check out this video below:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAw-g3HCwyk. i played again and again and again games like this including might and magic 6 to 8 and i will say it again i played them many many many times because i love games like this one. after i found out this game, i immediately bought this one and DLd it, installed and played RIGHT AWAY! i was VERY VERY EXCITED to play it.. but then again, my whole world came crushing down on me. i ddnt excpect a lvl 1 rat can be as tough as a freaking world boss!?!? i got the highest roll in hit rate of my thief but then again i keep on missing which makes my team almost being wiped out by A LVL 1 RAT!?! my 2 fighters cant even tank this LVL 1 RAT!?! the other thing is, i cant freely move during fights. when 2 LVL 1 RATS CAME, i ran into a choke point so that i can kill them 1 by 1, but then again A LVL 1 BAT WAS BEHIND ME, so its 100000000% GG for me. sorry, i really tried to love this game because im a sucker for games like this one but i really cant, nope, i really cant. sorry.. Really want to like this game. The concept is great, just love the solo dungeon crawlers. But... the controls are confusing and hard to set, the combat system is clunky, and the monsters on the first levels are impossible to defeat. Hopefully the developer will work on this and get the balance right. Again, I really want to like this game, but...EDIT: After giving the game some time, I have to change my recommendation to a yes. The combat takes a lot of practice, but once you get the hang of it the monsters are defeatable. And frankly, the game pulls you in and it's hard to stop playing.. Finished the game and enjoyed it very much. A must for all Dungeon Masters and great value. Would have liked to see a health bar for monsters, so I can tell if I should run or hang in there during a difficult fight.. im a big fan of dungeon crawlers, not impressed with this one, choppy movement, monsters are tough for 1st level characters, i ran 2 fighters a rogue and a mage and the first rat i ran into killed the rogue and mage on the 3rd round. They slowly come back to life which is great, so you dont have to ressurect them. And the saves are only done when you leave levels, that sucks. people keep saying its like Grimrock, perhaps but this is way slower, and the combat needs work. not my bag sorry. good game, good idea. could use more communication with the mechanics of the game, especially as they are used in puzzles.tip : to put something on a shelf, take it from your inventory by double-clicking, use "close" then click on where you want to put it. That mechanic got me locked until I looked it up.good game, not very long.
